para nako bisan naa pay 3rd or fourth collection nya isagol sa 1st ug 2nd collection....ok ra man na ba....dili na lang sad ko mangutana kon asa na padulong akong kwarta bahala na ang taga simbahan kon asa na nila gastuhon....kay kung mag kwenta pa gud ka sa imong nahatag sa simbahan....kuyaw ug kwentahan sad unya ka sa labawng mkagagahom....mao nay lisod diha kay di ra ba jud ka makapugong kon unsa may iyang buhaton!

I guess it's all up to the people whether they're willing to give or not. It's purely voluntary. The only thing is- I've been to quite a number of churches where they do the usual 2nd collection but don't even bother to announce where the money is going. Obviously- it's the discretion of the church doing the collection. Ako- if feel nako- I will give but most of the time, I don't - specially if there's no announcement whatsoever. I feel like they're just going through the motion of collecting.
Also - I've heard people say you're never late if nakaabot pa ka sa collection and nihatag ka.

here in Danao PARISH CHURCH..our very GOOD priest initiated a 2nd collection last year in order to finance the renovation of the church convent..the collection and other donations for the said renovation already amounted to 2Million++. What i admired most on our parish priest is that he will announce the full accounting and expenditure of the said collection and the status of the renovation project right at the end of the mass..

so the purpose is very transparent..that is why most of the parokyanos are lighthearted to donate.

kasagaran na gyud karon sa mga church na-ay second collection, especially Archdiocesan nga church, pero adto ka simba sa Religious...wala kaayo....its an option ra pud nato if mu-hatag ta for the second collection...i think this is approved sa Church leaders kay na implememnt naman....
