Yeah, when I first saw a video about this practice, I actually cried. It was the most horrific thing I have ever seen, from the act itself and from the beliefs behind it. It's just too much to take, and sometimes, these practices are seen by children in their community.

PETA has been making a lot of steps to help stop this BRUTAL and BARBARIC prastice, but to date, it still exist. The sad thing is, aside from Foxes, Racoons and other wild furred animals, they also do it with household pets especially stays, but their has been reports of stolen pets ( with owners ) that are being sold to the fur and meat trade. There's even a video that show Huskies being sold for their fur and meat......

The worst part of this is the fact that they believe that the more the animal suffered the more it becomes tasteful and would enhance Masculinity tsk tsk tsk.

Below is a list of some other countries and their brutal acts to certain Animals.


-Japan-
They are on the number one list in Slaughtering Dolphins, Whales and Purpoises. Dolphins are the most common victims on the meat trade. The Poor Dolphins are way too trusting to humans, which made them an easy picking for the Japanese whalers.

-Canada -
They rank first in the Seal Fur trade. They would hunt seals down in a massive scale. Hunting them by bashng their heads with hammers and other sharp tools, and most of the time, skinning the Seals that are still concious. The seals reproduction dipped very low, because hunting normally takes place when the seals are breeding, as a result, those that are victimized are nursing seals and their Pups who stays above the Ice.

-Pakistan-
Bear baiting is considered an attraction in this country. In Bear baiting, they would introduce the bears to fighting dogs ( mostly pitbulls ) and have the pitbulls fight the bear. The bear is left with nothing to defend itself. Just toothless gums and clawless paws. They get removed before the fight, as a result the bear will have ripped mouths and noses and are severly injured.


So what did these animals do to deserve such cruelty?
