Bro,
Ill try to give my thoughts on the issues :
For the first question above :
For wireless routers, Linksys is best. Its design for home and small office use.
Its equipt with dhcp and routing capabilities.
Its easy to work with using browser based GUI. (Configure using browser).
SRX is far the high-end model for the wrt54g series.
For the last question :
Yep pwede man routers on the first and 2nd floors.
I suggest you use one of the first floor router's switch port as a
source for the 2nd floor router.
Cable as the uplink (source) is the best link rather that connecting wireless to wireless (router to router connection).
==============
IT is my business.
bro, tnx... try pa nako this week ug install ang 2nd router (WIFI) sa 2nd floor... i give u feedback next week kung how is it.... hehehehehhe .. tnx bro.....
so ? kumusta na bro ?
ok na imo connection ?
Bitaw maayo tong suggestion ni killz
Question - my home wireless router is a Linksys Broadband G 2.4GHz or 54 Mbps unya my laptop has the wireless D-link Air-Plus G. I do have an extra Linksys G for the laptop but did not bother change that since it connects anyway they're all G, right? My question is would it matter though kung ang laptop D-Link unya ang naka konekta sa home pc desktop is Linksys? Parehas man G. Or wala ko kasabot?
Di raman cguro. Bisan lahi ang vendors, they both follow the same 802.11b/g standards.Originally Posted by Streetcar
so its okay then walay conflict cause its working man sab i'm just wondering kung better parehas linksys ang pc ug laptop. In that case at least i have the spare linksys for the laptop in case madaut tong usa ka d-link that my laptop is using right now. Thanks for the info, appreciate it much.Originally Posted by bufferOverflow
yes bro..sakto si buffer. same standards ang ila protocol so la jud problem ana.
even lahi2x ug brands. as long as G lang puros.
