You buy a console for games and the 360 has more games, better multi-platform games, and arguably better and more exclusives. If your aim is to use it as a Blu-Ray player, then get a PS3, but that really isn't what the console is for.

    go for xbox 360..

i ♥ my Xbox 360.. and i google some answers for you..

I like the Xbox 360. It beats the PS3 in several ways...

The PS3 has Blu-ray, but I own a PS3 and its movies really don't look that much better than DVDs. Certainly not enough to charge as much as they do. PS3 has free internet, but you get what you pay for. It is much worse than Xbox Live, and PS3 doesn't offer easy access to Netflix. Xbox 360, however, has a far longer line of superior games than the PS3 due to having been around longer. Xbox 360 also costs less in the short term, although long term players will end up paying a bit more. Both are good, but I would miss having an Xbox 360 more than I would miss having a PS3.

    verall the xbox 360.

There is hardly any difference in graphics.
    Online service is much better.
It has a bigger and better range of games.

The only thing ps3 has over it is it can play blu-ray. But as everything's still being released on dvd too, it's not really needed.

xbox 360 does have a larger game library, but i dont agree with games better than the ps3.
its more likely that if a good game is on a ps3, its going to be on a 360 (like FF series) and
vice versa. the recent jasper units still had some reported problems, and the same goes for
    the ps3.

as for online, xbox 360 is superior but you'll have to pay. pSN is free and ALMOST lag free,
but virtually non-existent online community. xbox 360 bare system costs less, but if you
buy the hardware upgrades (wireless components) it will cost even more than a ps3.

my point is, both systems has advantages and disadvantages. BOTH SYSTEMS are GOOD.
the choice here depends upon what games you want to play. mostly, for FPS its xbox360
and if its a fighting game go for the ps3.

It depends what you want to do with it. If you like me more interested in HD content, Blueray and video streaming etc., get the PS3.
