nice ang shih tzu.
ug pug. pro prone mn gud sa sakit ang pub.. like eye problems... basin mahal ug maintenance. nice pud rottweiler. mura kag naay haired bodyguard. and best playmate golden retriever.

i'm kinda biased towards golden retrievers. friendly, loyal, non-violent and super playful dogs!
you could get a great looking golden retriever at 15k.
go for the good breeders. buying from pet stores is not advised unless you really know the pet store owner and where his/her puppies come from.

to those first time; would-be owners, please try to research first on the different dog breeds-- then weigh out the pros and cons of each.
match them with your current living conditions such as: the type of home/neighborhood you live in (e.g. spacious or not), the amount of time, effort and money you are willing to spend for your pet's needs aside from the money you are willing to spend in buying one etc...

i totally agree with Tsikay... Having a working budget is not the only basis for buying/choosing a puppy to buy. Remember that you will live with whatever decision you made for 10-15 years (dog's lifespan). Best jud is to examine yourself usa.. what is your lifestyle? how much time do you have to take care of the puppies? do you have family members who may be allergic to furs? do you live in an apartnment, a big house with lawn, etc. do you have kids in the house? what is the your purpose of acquiring a dog? do you have time to walk your dog daily? if yes, how many minutes per day? etc.. etc.. etc.
in short, choose a dog that fits your lifestyle..
