i saw the first ep yesterday, and i think it looks promising. definitely falls under 'slice of life'.

hehe basin wa ka gatan-aw sa screen bro mao wa ka kakita sa characters kay klaro man kaayo to sila, nagtinawganay, nagsakay sa train, etc pero gamay lang kaayo iyang cast, 3 characters lang. nya ok ra man nga daghan storya. love story gud.

and by the way, it's on ANN's top 10 anime, together with haruhi suzumiya no yuutsu, monster and death note, among others.

not exactly anime, but try the love hina manga. in my opinion, the art and story is way better. especially sa last chapter kadtong naa sa train kung diin nag damgo si naru bahin sa kaagi nila ni keitarou...

slice of life you say? you can't go wrong with honey and clover. it feels like a high-production movie even though it is a tv series. i liked it because it started with a simple premise but had a terrific plot that really connects with lots of kind of people.
