Life is a journey, and the journey ends.

Along the journey, we take people with us. We take someone special with us. We share laughter, pain, defeat, victory. We lift each other up. We see ourselves in each other's eyes, and we grow. Though each has to make steps towards journey's end, we don't really tread single-file, but side by side. We grow together.

A road, a quest, a time to be alone. Perhaps we need any of these, and we say goodbye. Whatever it is, we continue the journey of life and grow. We grow at our own pace.

And at journey's end, we look back. As to how we could have chosen the roads we chose, all that we know is that at that time, that was what we knew and needed. We needed to take the roads to grow, grow at our own pace.
