just try to download NoobKiller from the net. then run it in your PC, it will kill all virus inside.
advice lang about avira. don't be overconfident using avira kay bisan pa og up to date ang imo avira, pwerteng daghana sa virus makalusot ana. observed it many times na sa mga clients nako using avira. better yet, use another antivirus available. try, mc affee, avg or symantec.
1st disable your system restore
start menu>right-click my computer>properties>system restore tab>tick Turn Off System Restore on all drives
2nd Download this link
Run this program, after it scans all your files from viruses you will need to check [ ] Help .... > then it will delete all the viruses on your harddisk.
Reminder you can avoid to have viruses on your computer to disable autorun.
kay all usb drives has autorun.inf hidden or not
Here is how:
mao ni buhata brad or sis. adto ka sa run sa windows xp or if windows 7 type
gpedit.msc>local configuration>sa left pane double click "Turn off autoplay">enable> then all drives
then restart your computer kay aron dili na mag autorun ang mga viruses sa imong harddisk or USB
pero para malikayan jud nimo before nimo malimpyuhan ang imong mga USB naa technique> inig open nimo sa my computer>adto ka sa folder> ayaw double click ang USB or HDD it only triggers again the autorun.inf
try daw if makita nimo ang folder option if not give me some feedback so we can resolve the problem further.

sometimes format is not really the best option cause you might be formatting only system drives but your data drive or back up harddrive was infected and you accidentally trigger another virus inside after you have formatted your system drives. you may have a clean system drive, you will be needing to install again antivirus downloaded freshly from the internet.
there are no perfect anti-virus which will prevent your computer from having infected again.
it only consume a lot of power usage, time, harddisk performance, and eat alot of cpu and ram, which will slow the performance of your computer.
the best anti virus out there is YOU the User.
Prevention is better than anti-virus.
