m here na sa maryland since 2003. i have step down from my hospital work and m part time RN lng sa usa ky m raising a 21mos old baby...lisod ang stress hospital plus ako pa stress sa balay!!! hehehe...

if u r just gathering ur papers/docs OK ra na ni sulat sad ka sa NZ nursing council as long as wa pa ka gi-hire from one hospital via an agency na gikuha na imo papers for packet 1 processing. lisod na basta naa na ka record sa immigration, n mag hop ka from 1 hospital/agency to another ky naa na ma blacklisted ka.

unsa to imo sulti ga process ka sa PRC docs as part sa Visa Screen? make sure na imo application portion ky lahi ug envelope sa transcript and PRC ky ang ila di na angay mo agi sa imo kamot ky sila mismo, PRC-SCHOOL to CGFNS na directa ang mailing. if CGFNS knows na ni-agi na sa imo kamot di na e-consider for processing. i think naa mn system ang PRC sa pag pada right? bayad ra mn ka sa fee sa mailing and same sa inyo school. ang imo na part ky dapat ang completed form n d fee for Visascreen ra.

So this meant u passed CG certification na? why not try Australia too? u can PM me if u want some answers to ur questions. m going home sa May 2008 before lodging my citizenship papers finally!

sagihi lang at least naa gihapon i-look forward sa future. keep on dreaming lang gihapon. here's d outline of requirements to comply, at least ul get the pic if mag-abroad ka

A.For USA (there are 8 states (Nursing Boards) among the 51 who does not need any CGFNS certification but dont get too excited yet if u think bypass na mo ug 1 exam. there is a very thin line defining this requirement between the state n the US immigration law for healthcare workers attempting to come in USA.

    1. Phil. Board Licensure for nurses

    2.CGFNS certification (optional/depends)
    - English Exams like TOEFL, TSE, IELTS or OPI (here in US only)

3.Visa screen - u can start this if u passed:
    - CGFNS certified or (per state requirement only) CES (Credentials Evaluation Services)

4.NCLEX preferred by employers to pass first since for the past few years daghan gi-petition na wa pa ka-take dha sa ato n then dri na ni take pero hagbong. it was a lose2x situation sa hospital ky gi-hire nila as RN pero d ka-practice tungod wa pa kapasar. so other hospitals are forced to let them work as PCA's til mo-pasar una pa start ila contrata. they lost huge amount money already from paying RN fees/per head at agencies. During my time, each worth a range of 18-20thou dollars.

    B. For NZ (try to research further ky basi naa nausab from time of my inquery sa una)

    1. Ur assessment first sa NZQA for additional points kung balak ka na Skilled Immigrant entry imo applyan daun
    2. Nursing NZ Council assessment for certification/licensure, maka help sad ni points.
    3. IELTS or TOEFL/TSE or ma-waive kung naka take nakapasar CGFNS

Usually after sa imo assessment for NZ certification ky kung wa ka other country experiences ky pa-eskwelaun sa ka didto sa ila systema.

    C. For Australia (more or less same sa NZ ky pareho na sila system sa government)

    1. Assessment sa ANMC (either full or modified buhaton depends imo experience)
    2. Look for a specific state kung asa ka apply sa Nursing Board

d na ko ka-remember tanan steps sa australia pero pareho ra sa NZ. search sa ANMC website nalang n ul get d pic! I hope nakatabang ko bisan gamay sa steps. gud luck sa tanan na mo take sa risk
