Simple problem sa cebu.. They don't know how to use calculator...

Lot of DA's are there in cebu.. One DA equivalent to 550 pesos per day and on top of that, their salary increase to a certain percentage (im not sure how much), then free accommodation and transportation..

Alicia rent per month - 25,000 (more or less)
    Allowance per month - 16,500
    Total - 41,500 per month/DA

DA's salary are much higher than the cebu hire employee..
    Assumption salary:

    DA's draftsman: 40,000
    Cebu Draftsma: 20,000

how many DA's are there? 50 minium...

Im not racist type but they are conquering the whole cebu in a wrong way.. they dont know how to budget the money.. pasagad rag padala mga tao.. kadugay nako ani nga industry in just one question if kamao ka sa imo trabaho kamao jud ka mo tubag pero mo tubag kag pina itik/pana/indiano wala na kay lami ika storya.. dili na mo obra sa mga professional..

daghan na assign sa cebu from manila nga murag gipa assign lang para dili mataktak didto sa manila kay way project load.. piritng pagka specila hatod kuha pa sa mga van.. asa man ang utok sa management oi?

nag hire pa mog local which is kadaghan maau manrabaho diri, and besides maka save pag dako.. then why not keep the experience employee dat time nga nagsugod og balitok ang sitwasyon? gi let go ang mga tag-as experience then gipabilin ang mga DA..

the worst part is dili pa jud transparent ang management.. they keep saying during KAPIHAN (mao ra ni kapihan nga way kape).. nga daghan project nasulod, nakuha nani nga project blah..blah..blah..

JOKING? if project has been awarded, we all should knw about it (uncle google is here).. ngano mamakak paman tawn nga naay project oi.. tambaloslos jud!

I used to think of this as an unfair practice before.
Why were they given such perks. Spoiled.
Then I realized something through our open topic conversation with middle management.
They said that all the amount you mentioned above are all charged to Client.
Meaning, the Company can afford it because it is billed to Client.

Sending DAs to Cebu is a "strategy".
Something the people in the general membership does not automatically understand.
When you are bidding for a project, the Client looks at the office's capability.
Whatever skill gaps Cebu have, it is being filled by Manila.
By doing so, we are increasing our chances in the bidding.

You are somehow true when you say na "gipadala ra na sila diri para dili mataktak".
It is true because that is the ideal scenario right now.
The Company would rather utilize existing manpower than to hire new members.
Manila have a surplus of manpower right now, so tapping them is the direction they are pursuing.
That is both the economical and the strategic move.

High experience means high salary which then means higher cost.
If they can have a member with lower salary perform the same duties, their option is to let go of the higher salary members.
You have to understand that this decision is forced unto the middle management.
They have to comply with the Corporate's directive.
Choosing whom to let go and whom to keep is difficult.
When you arrive at that position, you will know.

Yes, sometimes the management sounds like they're sugar coating the real situation.
I can only think of the pressure they are experiencing right now and they don't want to push that on the members.
    Di lalim.

But I will tell you this:
The reports are as transparent as can be.
The thing is, the status of the Company today will not be the same as the status tomorrow.
In a matter of days all plans could change, that is the situation we are right now.
