Marcos' sin was that he betrayed the people who elected him to power.
He became a thief, tyrant, a traitor and a dictator.
These are the reasons why there was edsa 1.

LNMB is one our nations hallowed grounds.
No thief, tyrant, traitor or dictator should be buried there.

You want to see heroism? you dont need to go to LNMB for that.

We keep on blaming it all on Marcos, nobody want to take the blame and its easy to put all the blame on a dead man.

I am just wondering how many of the thousands human rights victims can actually say that their demise was personally ordered by FM.

IM not sure if it was yesterdays paper or monday where the cover picture is of a woman who was sexually abused by an AFP soldier during MArcos period, did she filed a case against the soldier or she just think she'll get more if its class suit.

Many AFP officials are as guilty as Marcos, these AFP and PC officials are the one making the orders back then and none of them been indicted with Marcos.

But many of them are buried sa LBNMB.

Marcos was different, he was kicked out of malacanang by the people he ruled.
your analogy will find an audience in many barber shops, iapil sad ang mga beauty parlor. maayo didto kay daghan naa motuo nimo.
if Marcos was kicked by the "people" he ruled this country would not be so divided if the topic is on Marcos.

Many still think of Marcos as one the best and intelligent President the country had. Personally, Id still prefer MArcos than Aguinaldo.

If Marcos was still in power then 60-70% of the posters on this board and probably the site operators would be in jail, maybe even tortured..... or else istorya.net would not even exist.

Dictators don't like free speech as evidenced all over the world and throughout history.

And you think that being critical of government would not be illegal in such circumstances? I think that's naive...... just look at China where you can be placed under house arrest indefinitely for merely speaking your mind about freedom and where journalists are beaten. Dictators create laws to limit "your" freedoms. One day you could wake up to find that what was once normal is now illegal.
