Actually, one of the most watched movies of all time during Christmas season... A Christmas Story revolves around an airgun.

This is a wonderful hobby. It will seem complicated when you are at the foot of the learning curve. But, all you have to do is ask... and there will be guys like me here who are willing to answer you. That way, you can learn and avoid the mistakes you might make if learning on your own.

wheew!! bf should come over to learn about this new found hobby. i feel interested, family bonding is what i am looking for.

so where do we start? having a good airgun? i saw some displays at the mall.

Sa HAHN sa SM seaside naa silay mga PCP na GAMO ang brand but its a bit pricy.
we have our own Local PCP makers na sa cebu.

Mam, just a warning... playing with airguns will have you infected with this highly contagious virus.

it is called "AIRGUNITIS"

kay mostly sa mga airgun hobbyist at first its just a hobby tira tira lang sa balay.. then it turned into a sport
a bit serious na looking into technicalities and details.

then mahimo nang scientist hahah mag compute2 na.. mag kat-on na sa curves and mo join na dayon og competition.

we have a group sa cebu its called CARA (Cebu Air Rifle Association)
naay mga competitions e held sa CARA range sa minglanilla like Metallic Silhouette, 10M Paper Target and ang bag-ong na adikan ang 25M BenchRest.

competition is fun and it hones your skills pud.

bay John... kini nga time, maoy pag start namo pag spread sa gospel sa BR... Bench Rest shooting many years ago. pasensya na ha..... it looks deceptively so easy... makaingon ka nga "imposibleha mo miss" hehe... by now, I hope people already know that BR is a very technical shooting discipline.

I don't remember we have categories for Local and Imported with our BR events.

Naa lang mi, CO2 ug PCP categories.

I do not see any problems with local vs imported... it depends on the person behind the trigger.
