Depends on the situation. I try to be honest, so I don't need to cover up later on.
Of course if it is harmless and might make my friend or significant other feel better, then a little bit of biting of the tongue might be in order. example....Honey, does this look good on me? If you don't like it and say so, then you might be in for a fight or at least a longer wait while she tries on more outfits....heheh.
