sure mo plan 1995 is already 1Mbps murag wala man gyud ko kaabot ana nga speed..mura naman hinuon ni dial up..
ahaka uy.alkanse ko ani da..anways, inig expire na sa contract ani ako broadband kay dili nako pa reconnect balik.puol na sige internet.hihihihi...

My bill says all those on a higher plan have to inquire globe reps when the speed upgrades will be available in their area.

dito sa bahay ng friend ko 280+ kbps lng ang pldt.... wlang upgrade. Parang downgrade ata ... hehehe. buti pa sa bahay 400 to 500+ kbps ang globe ko.

well lets see how pldt's upgrade goes...... they sure couildn't stand the pain anymore and had to upgrade also..............

for globe i think another round of speed upgrade..... lets see how pldt can keep up....

Get the best possible speed out of your DSL connection by following these simple guidelines:

For residential subscribers, avoid connecting multiple PCs to a single DSL connection. Each additional PC slows down your connection further.
If you must connect multiple PCs to a single DSL connection, get professional assistance from a PC shop or a network technician to ensure its proper setup.
Keep your anti-virus and anti-spyware software updated so you won’t suffer slowdowns from virus attacks.
Upgrade your PC to carry at least 256 MB of RAM and make sure your hard drive is optimized (e.g. defragmented). A good-quality LAN card also improves performance.
Make sure all of your extension lines have microfilters.
Make telephone cables inside your house are not corroded, especially during the rainy season. If you suspect that they are corroded, have your electrician check and replace them.

Please note that it is possible for you to not reach your maximum speed even if you follow the above guidelines. On average, you should be able to experience at least 60% of your maximum speed. This is because there are other factors affecting speed beyond the control of both PLDT and the subscriber.

60% of 512kbps =307.2kbps

60% of 1.2mbps = 720kbps

This is PURELY a marketing gimmick...... anyway at least they had the effort....

do all globe subscribers also get the subscribed speeds they get? it seems that this part of the thread is more focused on globe doesnt have disconnects,globe doesnt underbandwidth their subscribers.. are off of these really true ? no single globe user having problems no single user experiencing below stated bandwidth ?
