Hello bro, kalma lang gamay kay christians ra baya ta puro hehe. Sabtanay lang gud. Akong purpose why i started this thread is only to share what's the truth behind December 25 which is widely celebrated to be the birth of Christ. Sa tinuod bro, halos tingali 90% of the RCs didnt know this. Diba?

Dili ta maghisgot anang gitawag nimog "botbot" kay murag ngilo kayo na paminawn (kahinumdum lang ko sa iring sa among silingan nga dili kawagtangan anang botbot..hhehe. Our goal is to share the truth. Sakit man o dili atong dawaton if we are for the truth.

Though OT nani atong mga posts diri but if you really wanted to make an offensive towards Protestants, much better create a thread ang then didto nato istoryahan ang mga doctrinal differences, practices, etc nga wala ta magtakdo. Im very sure daghan moapil ana...But mao lagi, instead mo lead sa atua sa truth it will only create friction between camps kay daghan man gud nga christians nga immature pa, senstitive, emotional which bati ang mahimong resulta. Atong ipakita ang panag-inigsuonay....

With regards sa imong pangutana, yes there;s no specific date but based on biblical narratives, imong matrace diha ang duol2 nga date.....dili man gud December, samot na gitumong ug 25 sad kay nilink nuon sya sa pagan celebration.

Which infact matawag man gihapon na good news ang pagpakataw ni Kristo. But not the observance, not of Christ’s birth, or even of his resurrection, but rather of his death is mentioned by Jesus and the apostle Paul. (Luke 22:19, 20; 1 Corinthians 10:14-17; 11:20-34).

OT: taasa nmn diay ani oi, hehe... sensitive jud basta i-relate na dayon sa beliefs and "religion".

OnT: di na mag matter if when jud gipanganak si Jesus. What's imp't is the life we receive from Him. Regarding the celebration of x-mas, respetarar na lang ta ninyo as we all think differently and na tay kanya2 "gisandigan" sa pagtuo.

Answer: YES! But ugma nako mu explain bay noy kay mu out nako sa office karon. Tiwas lang ta discuss ugma.
ok bai, i will respect yout POV towards us(Catholics)..in the same way that i respect people who say God does not exist.

about protestants killing Catholics, you may wanna review History esp sa europe nga mga Christians.
of course there are also Catholics who did the same..everyone is just as guilty as everybody.

if you remember, 10-20 years ago...and Catholics ug mga protestants treated each other as if both camps didn't have the same God, the same belief in the trinity, and the same Laws of Jesus.
i would remember people saying, aw born again diay na siya? uban pud catholic man na siya..
some even mistake that the term "born again" is a RELIGION. hahaha
    i know 'cause i did..

It is impossible for a person esp a non-Catholic Christian to know every reason behind the Roman Catholic Sacraments, dogma and practices in the same way that a very smart, logical or even a genius aetheist would about God.
simply because the point of view starts from our comfort zone.
on the contrary, Catholics wouldn't fully know the side of the protestants of course for the same reason.
no offense bai ha, i bet you even havent talked to a Catholic Faith Defender, or somebody who is equiped to explain the details about
dogmas and practices of Catholic Church. talked to people who really devoted their lives in the studying about the Catholic Faith.
Vatican Archives? scholars and masters of divinity in the Catholic faith? and point bai defender is
to be certain about Catholics being pagan(discreet way) is merely a point of view, opinion nothing more.
    which i respect

i am not trynig to ignore or do away the tragic past that Catholics and Protestants have.
BUT i am claiming the unity among all CHURCHES of Christ as ONE body.
Christ accepted us all including our past, hope we can do the same.

this LITTLE differences that we HAVE as CHRISTIANS, will tear us DOWN.
will remind US of HOW some of our church fathers failed to LET Forgiveness and Love triumph over differences.
and will also neglect how some of our church fathers struggled for PEACE between all denominations.
Hope we will NOT make the same mistakes as they did..BUT instead follow the LEAD of Christ.
point is, why should we spend time in these type of debates? to prove who is the true Christian in the eyes of Christ?
to prove who have right practices? to prove who is really following the Bible?
    what for?

i know for sure you BELIEVE and is SURE 100% of what you want to BELIEVE about Catholics,
i am also sure that you have evidences and everything that can support your claims
but i think we can both agree that what you know and believe is JUST as PERSONAL as people claiming there is NO God with facts and observations.

again, i think the reason why God has placed limits in our minds but eternity in our hearts
so that we will refrain from being the JUDGE, as we ought to be witnesses.
