after a series of unheeded advice. i gave up giving her advices so i put this letter in her bag before she left for school.
the letter was something like this:

dear daughter.
i thank god for giving you to me.
i must have done good in my previous life to deserve you as a daughter.
you are the most wonderful child to me.
you are appreciative, loving and caring daughter.
thanks for being a good sister to your brother.
thanks for not taking the remote from him when he is watching tv and thanks for not changing the channel to your favorite show.
thanks for sleeping early at night so that you are never late for school.
thanks for studying every night instead of texting with friends.
thanks for eating your lunch/baon and not throwing them in the trash when you come home.
thanks for listening and following all the advice i gave you.
thanks for going straight from school instead of wasting your time on computer games and dota.
thanks for doing your best in school and thanks for your very high grades.
thanks for the love and respect you showed me.
i could never ask for a better daughter. i feel im the luckiest dad in the world.
