have any of you guys tried the officail updater? i got a propt that says incorrect s/w version... hope someone can enlighten me...

hayz maypa mo naa na jud inyong mga omnia.. had to postpone my plans in getting a new one coz my mom was admitted to the hospital, had surgery, and the bill was a whooping 6-digit sum..

got the rom from samsung site, set country to philippines. got some tips from the peeps @ modaco. will try it later.

What is your ROM version?

Please check: Start>Settings>System>Version

I think the latest Philippine version is i900DXHK3. You may want to check your phone configuration.

Also, what OS did you use to update? Vista or XP? I myself had some challenges when I used Vista. Took me 5 attempts before it really went through.

i got a vista, and also an xp running a virtual machine. i tried with both but had the same error. i'll try ur suggestion when i get home tonight.

@aridoasis: Try changing country code and default GSM Provider. Suway sad download sa updater para SG units. WWE bitaw just the same.

mine is DXHG4.. old nani? last year pa ni ako omnia.. mao naman jud ni iya version... unya nako update ug pul.an na heheh

i heard and read in other forums better upgrade using XP daw.. butr haven't tried though.
