gma owns this specific SC.. what kind of law are you people talking about?
oh yeah, right, like there's no quid pro quo going on between Lacson and the royal-PITA-couple of RP. they have the dirt on Lacson which is why Lacson fled. they're probably blackmailing him with it.
hmmm... maybe you ought to slow down on the i-kiss-ass juice yourself.

You need to read between the lines. Lacson supporting this is a simple exercise in logic, he's covering for his own ass too, just in case he'll need the support of the PGMA-friendly Supreme Court to grant him a TRO to get out of the country again, just like he did in the past. The fact that he defied the justice system of this country by running away before he could be arrested, means his opinions regarding our justice system shouldn't be taken seriously.
And lay off the personal insults, hatorade? What the f*.. how old are you? You need to read carefully. Whether the SC is right or wrong isn't the issue I was trying to raise. What I asked is, how can the SC expect its decisions to be respected when the court itself doesn't follow its own rules nor that of the English language? Like I said, if final doesn't really mean final in another case, according to the SC itself, how can they insist that final really means final in this case? It boils down to moral authority. An institutional body that conducts itself with integrity and avoids controversy has more power than a body that has made a mockery of justice and become the butt of jokes in our region. Kasabot ka? It's about the lack of moral authority of the SC. I'm not excusing what noynoy gov is doing, I think a constitutional crisis is bad for the country but the thing is both noynoy and the SC are responsible for this.
Noynoy for defying the SC, and the SC for losing moral authority to the point that it can be defied without consequence. That's the problem.. people no longer respect the SC because they have lost the people's respect.
