you could try shooting it portrait...get the actual castle with the reflection on the pond...

@markyap - I know what you mean. I actually have a shot like you described but it wasn't to my liking...kinda cliche composition if you will. I was going for something I wasn't used to at that time. Thanks for the comment.

Now that is a lot more interesting! People won't be so quick to notice that it's actually a reflection and would be left wondering what digital effects in PP you were using. haha!

seriously, to answer ur question...
a big FIRSt is the stupid red date...TURN OFF AUTODATE FUNCTION!
(digital files have embedded date mark that wont show in the image itself/prints and if you want it to show in the photo later you can always add it in a few seconds.)
2) colors are dull.
3) leaves on the top left are out of place.
4) i think its under exposed.
5) lack detail on the background.
6) bad sunset capture.
7) grey sky...minimal cloud detail...
composition could be better...diffirent angle maybe?
9) image is flat and static, dont know whats the angle or what are you trying to show in the photo or what we are supose to be drawn to in the photo.
10) fill flash might give u better forgound details and highlights...
i have more actually but i think you get the picture...
too many things bout the this that could be a lot better...

Thanks you for that very generous critique. At least I know what are my mistakes and where do I stand in terms of having a career in landscape photography.

Mistakes like these would make me think twice before I would do the plunge. Anyway, bout the pictures I was trying to capture the road with the trycycle as subject but I dont know I wasnt able to press the button at once and didnt realize that the tricycle was already almost in front of me.

Tsk.
