Sirs, can we share infos about this this parasite?

I have a 4-month old pitbull whos having Demodetic mange right now.. I am very sad and puzzled on where he got this parasite. According to my research, this parasite is naturally occuring and only attacks the host ( my beloved dog ) when it is at its low immunity state, or in other words, opportunistic pathogen/parasite. But, in contrary, a very reliable friend who is at the same time a vet has told me that demodex is not naturally occuring and is just an infestation due to a dog who's had a close contact with my dog. now my dog is having his weekly medicated bath with amitraz and daily dose of formol-ivermectin. Hope he gets well soon 'coz he's been a buddy to me and I'm attached to him in just 2 months. (coz i got him at 2 months old).

hope you share your ideas too on how to prevent and any info about this disease.. ty

yep..hoping he will be just fine.. Miming (my dog) is a strong dog.. I can't be soft for him.. not now.. ty sir..

but sir try reading articles in the net about demodex... pics will show you how poor my dog has become.. T_T

they got it from their mother.. mao na usually mga dam na naay history sa mange dili gyud dapat i breed. is your pup ok now sir?

ongoing treatment pa sir.. mao ba? gkan diay na sa iya mama? ang vet dili lage mu agree nga gkan sa iya ermat ang demodex sir?

mao na ang naka funny dira. kay if u ask other vets they would say na it came from the dam. and most of the articles i read pud it says na it came from the dam while ga pa titi pa sila sa puppies. naa ko chow na gi rescue na grabe na gyud ka worst ang iya scenario sa demodex mange then kuyog sya sa amo uban dogs so far wala man na takdan ang ako uban dogs. all dogs pud base sa akoa na read na article naa gyud demodex mites but because naa something sa ila immune system na ga prevent og total infestation mao na dili ra kaayo manotice ang symptoms. on some other dogs labi pa katong stressed kaayo na dogs or malnourished since weak ila immune system mao na na mo manifest gyud ang symptoms.

but i don't think my pit is malnourished sir.. he's 15 kgs at 4 months..is it under the weight req?
