    Default Your Advice ASUS P5GVMX

    Good Day,

Guys, it seems i need your help on this problem i have encountered, have already done what i know to fix the problem.

    so here's my problem.

    My old motherboard ASUS P5GVMX

it seems all the back panel are not working, the build in video no longer displays, keyboard and mouse no function nor the sound or USB.

    details:
    Motherboard:ASUS P5GVMX
RAM: Kingston PC 400 512mb RAM
    Harddisk: 160Gb IDE Seagate
    PSU: Generic, kuyog sa casing
this pc was not for gaming, but for office works and internet surf.

I'm not really the one using it, my mother was the one using this pc, problem starts,
when the powersupply which is generic was broken - low voltage siya,

i tested it with my branded psu, it was able to boot up, but now i no longer, nor any bit sound.

your advice or solutions is really appreciated, im just trying to salvage what i can on this pc even thought i already replace a new pc which is an atom for office work and surfing.

    remove motherboard from tray and

*do visual assessment sa condition sa motherboard. check for signs of damage like bad-caps,burnt parts, "taya" or any possible shorts

replace cmos battery and clear/restore cmos defaults

test motherboard again outside of case....

    have done does sir,
there where no damage and have replace the battery also,
my suspect it maybe it was also damage when the powersupply low voltage damage,
also i notice everytime i switch it on, no problem when turning ON, but when i turned it off,
it seems the bios heatsink is very hot also the heatsink of processor.

thank you for your reply sir.
