not all, if they feel they have sufficient evidence as to constitute a cause of action then they should file. After all, election protest is part and parcel of the election system. Mar did not start it, he is merely using the right to protest provided for by the system to push for his cause

null was just a technical term used to lump together all uncounted votes. what must be done is to examine the underlying reason why in this elections there were 3M null votes.

in the past elections, mispelled names and incomplete names of candidates in the ballots were mandated by law to be counted. this is in keeping with the principle that technicalities should not hinder the expression of the true intent of the voter. After all, election is the process by which we choose our leaders, this is not a SPELLING contest nor is it a contest for whoever SHADES the circle perfectly. this liberal appreciation of votes in the manual elections must continue to be subscribed in the automated elections. Intent of the voter must still be the guiding principle for appreciation.

so are you saying that only null votes for mar roxas will be counted? what about null votes for binay will they be also counted?

they will all be counted, either for mar or for binay. I'm not necessarily for MAr but i support his move to have the 3M null votes be reexamined to ascertain whether there are votes which were not read by the machines but could be accounted for manually
