titah.. no offense ha.. i agree with some part of your comment.. but when you say marcos is better than any other choices provided, i beg to disagree with that.. the economy of the philippines was stronger that time, no doubt about it.. but let's face the fact that the reason why we are suffering economically is because we experience the aftermath of the corrupt practices of marcos' regime.. if he didn't steal billions of dollars from the government, imagine the difference we would have right now..

To me, the ONLY good thing Marcos did was the execution of that Chinese druglord. At the very least, he had the guts to implement and enforce the law of the land. That made a lot of undesirables quiver for a while. Can't be said of the wishy washy leaders that came after him. Most of them were so afraid of public opinions. And we all know why.
