Just gave birth and sa chong hua ko nindot kaau ang facilities sa chong hua. If you want to have a safe delivery adto didto.d jud ka bya-an sa ilang mga resident OB and i monitor ka nila permi. mo encourage pa jud cla nimo sa imong pag panganak. maka ingon jud ko nga worth it jud manganak sa chong hua and well taken care of ka wala'y mahay labi na first baby nmo.

Congratz! Actually regarding sa safety of the delivery, naa ra na sa OB nimo, that's why they don't charge the hospital with malpractice, it's the Physician they charge it with. Any hospital is good as long as you are handled by a good doctor =)

most baby books/maternity websites have decent "must have lists"

double check with your hospital on what they provide as part of the maternity/delivery packs. i gave birth in chong hua and didn't know they were gonna provide things like baby thermometer, suction and such so na-double yung iba.

also, don't buy too many of the same items until you know you need them (just remember what brand you have and ask someone to get them for you once you're sure you need them). in my case, we bought mittens, and my baby is now 6 months old and he hasn't used a single pair!

same with nappies/diapers. there is such a thing as hiyang, so maybe buy small packs first to see which your baby prefers.

what i found useful that was not in any book/website i read is to have a small battery operated night light near your baby's bed. really usefull for nighttime feeds so you don't have to turn on your real room light. keeping the room dark at night helps your baby understand that night time is for sleeping. it worked for us--baby has been sleeping 10 hours straight at night since he was 2 months old.

    good luck!

maternity is the best kay dli cla mo cater ug lain gwas sa mga birth related ra jud so sure ka labi na if imong baby weak or ikaw that you wont catch anything there. it's cheap and it's safe pero depende ra pd sa ob if mkasulod ba cya ddto. mas nindot pman gni ang maternity kaysa perpetual... and in maternity they dont allow formula milk. strikto kaau cla when it comes to that...
