i used to have a strat but i disassembled it, i was planning to buy new genuine parts for it but i hate the part where i have to shell out 15k for it so i'm just using my spanish guitar for now, i bought it at gaisano metro for only 1k hehehehe

@baliguat: Yes i have a Fender Strat (Vintage 1960). I used to own a Washburn way back in high school but i shifted to Fender from the moment i played one. Great playability, it just feels right. I try to copy a lot of Clapton's, Hendrix's and SRV's chops for personal satisfaction. If you notice, all of them are excellent Fender Strat players. By the way, most of Kenny Wayne Sheppards blues chops were derived from SRV.
@steelwater: Eric Clapton's From the Cradle album is the greatest blues album for me. Although the songs from this album were just cover versions, i would still say that his interpretation of the blues licks were extraordinary.

i agree, i have that tape before but my friend didnt return it, he died already so i think i'll never get it back...you have mp3s? do you you have recordings of you playing?
