If you have for example a gigabyte or asus motherboard, a branded PSU and a lianli casing, is it still considered clone kay dili acer or hp ang brand?

I'll trade any branded PC for these.

    Anyway sis, goodluck.

yup, it'd still be considered a clone regardless sa kung unsa ka high end ang mobo, PSU, casing, etc...

even if its assembled by maingear pc? or ibuypower? clone gihapon? using those components?

those pc boutique companies assemble pc using high end stuffs with their name on it still considered clone?

or asus have their own desktops clone gihapon? asus mobo man?

so unsa man diay gyud mo qualify as branded? acer, dell, lenovo,hp, and the likes ra?

hehehe naglibog na sad ko ani branded and clones da, oh no wait even hp nay mga gaming desktops using asus mobo so mahug clones rana siya kay dili man hp mobo gigamit?

as far as in my own opinion if wala ko masayop it was after first na nigawas ang pc being made by IBM nga nigawas ang clone pc which was made by compac
IBM used to be the first one na nag produce og PC available in public along with microsoft partnership

(as we all know mostly sa atoa naka in print sa huna huna if mo ingon og PC windows gyud ang sulod hehehe kana nga partnership ang naka ingon ana
linux and macintosh based are PC gihapon personal computer gihapon hehehe)

at that time it cost too much mao nigawas ang clone PC which is not made by IBM,
at that time mao nay gitawag og IBM compatible PC
if naa pa kay mga old school hardwares just like sa akoa mga junk collection u will notice nay naka tatak IBM compatibles hehehe

so therefore masamot ang libog ani gyud ron hehehe

kani malingaw gyud ang kombati ani hehehe

Yes, clone gihapon IMHO, if wala gi-rebrand sa maingear pc or ibuypower ang mga components..

ang ako pasabot sa branded ha kay kanang mga name brands like Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, IBM, and so on...

ang mahitabo kay pag-on nimo sa PC ang mugawas kay ang Name Brand instead of the mobo manufacturer.. For example, on nimo imo Dell pc ang mugawas sa splash screen kay Dell with options to go to the BIOS by pressing F2 or Boot menu by pressing F12 whereas kung DIY nga PC imo gamit ang mogawas sa splash screen kay MSI, Biostar, ECS, etc...

IBM used to be the only one na nag produce og PC which murag mao na gi pattern up to this days and at that time it cost too much mao nigawas ang clone PC which is not made by IBM,

sakto jud bro.. kadumdum pako anang mga label nga IBM-compatible nga labels..hehe

the point here (sa akong pagkasabot) is branded ang PC iff gi-rebrand na sa manufacturer ang mga components as it's own.. kana bitaw ang mga part numbers sa mga components kay nagtangag na sa name sa company.. for example, ang ako Dell laptop before kay ang part numbers kay dili nimo makita anywhere kay naa jud siya kaugalingon Dell Part #xxxx. This is always true especially when it comes to the mobos.

I hope wa nakalibog ug samot.. hahaha

it's not solely on the bios logo ra man pud.. ang pinakaimportante ani is rebranding sa mga parts.. with the company's own part number na instead sa mga orig manufacturers' PN.. mao bitaw if kabantay mo mahal kaayo ang mga parts if sa Dell, HP, Acer mo palit kay ila na gi-char.charan ang parts nila..haha
