    For motorists...

whether its the highways of Cebu or the Interstate Freeways sa U.S. (which don't have lights) its always safer to travel daytime...

This is not in defense of Gwen pero having streetlights for the entire length of the North and South highway is not economically feasible. light reflectors and reflective paint maybe but not street lights every few meters. Population is too sparse sa outer provinces as to provide for the acquisition cost and running cost (electric bill) of the lights.

lahi man ang interstate or freeways sa gawas kay one way man. nya tag 6 ka lanes... and besides, naay reflectors ug signs sa kilid na reflective pud. naa pud cameras, emergency phones ug truck stops every 30 miles or so.

don't compare our roads with the US interstates..dire sa pinas you really need to OPEN all your senses para dili ka ma shoot sa LIBAONG or maka sideswipe ug pedestrian. importante gyud kaayu ma sug-an ang mga roads dire

Juvenile and totally uncalled for. Did he have to use public funds on public property to make a petty, inconsequential point? Tomas should be taking the high ground if he thinks his opponents are taking potshots at him from the gutter, but he instead goes down to their level.

...no matter how you judge Tomas, it's still a valid road safety sign

Sure it is. As sure as the sun rises in the west.

"Dim Your Lights" is a road safety advisory

"This Is Not The Province" is a cheap shot.

and TOMAS is using government money to spite at the Garcia's?

Well, speaking of blunder, remember that the sale of SRP to Filinvest is very irregular. It's not just ang mga tawo kay fanatic ni Tomas thus they prefer to keep a blind eye from the wrongdoings of Tomas.

Well lit city roads, yeah yeah.

    And that's not just it.

There are squatters, street children sniffing rugby, banks being robbed by robbers, vandalism, shabu, drug addicts, etc. And yet the city prides itself as the QUEEN CITY OF THE SOUTH.

Matud pa ni Osmena sa una, "I will make Cebu City second to none." Pero unsay nahitabo?

Hambugero ra kaayo ni si Tomas. He thinks that he owns Cebu, he thinks that he is the only one WHO KNOWS EVERYTHING and that everybody SHOULD LISTEN to him and him alone.

I will not vote for Tomas, nor will I vote for Gwen too.

For me, Raul del Mar for Mayor and Ace Durano for Governor.
