The Beatles albums were originally converted into digital form and released to CD's two decades back. There were a lot of criticisms because the George Martin "cleaned" some tracks. For example, in the original version of "If I Fell" in the Hard Day's Night album, Paul McCartney sort of choked on the last line of the second chorus "......and I, would be said if our new love, was in vain". He sort of choked when he sang "vain". That was evident in the vinyl and tape versions of the album.
When the first CD versions came out, the "croak or Choke" disappeared. Many Beatle "purists" complained and declared that the edits were a disecration.
I have the entire first batch of these CD's. I hope to be able to afford the new release and have it on my Beatle collection.

I love The Beatles!
The Box Set and The Beatles Rockband have been released last September 9, 2009 aka 9/9/9.
I went to Oddysey in Ayala Center Cebu last Sunday to check if the box set was sold there. I was shocked na walay baligya. Huhuhu! Asa man ko mangita ani guys? I don't want to buy online because it's never safe to shop in the internet.
