man, he's in denial! filipinos are not stupid, why have you seen any filipinos passed out because of micheal jackson or any showbiz assholes? none, right? the fact is that white people are stupid it is because of liberalism, see those young white *****s turned to punks or immatured compared to filipinos. filipinos in general are smart, practical and resourceful, not to mention our great sense of humor, filipinos dont breakdown when having problems and we are not even afraid if dont know what to do when tomorrow comes.

im proud to be a filipino : smart and deadly

if I haven't encountered a humbling experience, I would react similarly with majority of the posters on this thread.
I don't think it's hatred, it's more of an ignorant point of view or just simply a blog from a misinformed individual.

this is my experience, a couple of kids ages 10 and 8 respectively had their very first vacation (summer) in the Philippines last year. being born and raised in the U.S. all their lives, an eye popping life experience awaits them in Cebu. their dad, a very good friend of mine lived in Hippodromo, Mabolo and their house literally sits above a "tiangge" so normally all foul odors abound (buwad, isda, ginamos, ug uban pa). for guys like you and me who have lived in this type of situation all our lives, this is normal as normal gets. as soon as they arrived at their grand parents house the youngest son quipped, "dad, your house stinks.. it's making me puke..". his other son narrated their experiences, "tito, we saw rats, cockroaches, feces in open canals, garbage everywhere".. "why are there a lot of mosquitoes and flies?", "we rode in tricycles, jeepneys, and trisikads"."why are the houses built very near each other?", "why are there a lot of people just sitting around? aren't they working?". . and it goes on and on.. I tried my very best to answer all those as honestly and truthfully as I could.

there are still a lot of innocent questions from these kids but my point is "in their minds it's two different worlds that it doesn't even compare". the only link for most U.S. born Filipino-American kids to even remotely depict our culture and tradition is the Filipino Channel which sadly does not have much to offer. just imagine if Filipino parents don't work doubly hard to instill in their kids minds our culture, traditions and the Filipino way of life then naturally we would hear more and more of these same "blogs"/"websites" from second generation Filipinos.

For all those who's got similar experiences with mine, you know what I mean. I know it's sad, but that's one of life's unfair realities..
Shut Up! Let your GAME do the talking!

i saw this article about the guy:

    he is a filipino awryt...

"Big Tone is, without a doubt, the most popular member of the Bob Freeman Show. Standing at over six feet tall and weighing well over 200 pounds, Big Tone is the incoherent Filipino madman from Franklin, Louisiana.

Despite his popularity, however, Tone’s appearances on the show usually aren’t without controversy. He has been known to make extremely homophobic remarks on a regular basis, and despite the fact he is Filipino, he is ashamed of the Philippines and uses the word “flips” to describe his own people. He also has had countless meltdowns on the show, usually resulting in severe damage to the studio and/or the people in it. Somehow, though, all of the above only seem to strengthen his cult following.

“I do not give a damns if people like what I have to say,” Big Tone explains. “If people do not approve of my comments, then what gives a ****?”

Tone recently started a new website, BowlingForManila.com, which is garnering plenty of hatemail from the Filipino community. He claims the site is dedicated to reforming the Philippines, but with statements like "the flips bring shame to me" found throughout the website, Big Tone definitely isn't winning any fans among his fellow Filipinos.

"These pitiful flips need to realize that I have the First Amendment right to say what I want," Tone tells us. "And if they have a problem with me, then they can go back to Flipland and live with the other savages. Those people live in grass huts and bring shame to me."

Big Tone: whether you love him or hate him, you definitely feel something about him."
