If you are going to ask me if there is a possible irregularity in the SRP-FLI deal? YES!
Is it right for PJ or any Cebuano politician to question it? NO!

    QUOTE]

So if your saying that indeed their is irregularity in the SRP-FLI transaction...is it our moral obligation as taxpayers to question the deal?

the question is like a sirang plaka: ngano manghilabot man cla sa SRP/FLI deal?

A simple answer is political vendetta.

u then ask "why man gyud mobawos?" answer: why not?
Correct, political vendetta because the Garcia's took it personally instead of professionally.
Is political vendetta good? Are you encouraging this HA!

Tell me, what are the places you have gone through here in Cebu? Have you crossed rivers and mountains and found out there are people living in those areas? Maybe this is too much for you to comprehend.
Let me put it much more simpler...
Have you heard of google earth? Or let make it more simple...like a map...a map of Cebu.

I advise you to buy one (you can get one at National Book Store, in Ayala and SM city CEBU CITY)and try to measure inside your head on how undeveloped and how much support the provincial government could have given to the province if they would have put their professional goals ahead of their personal desires.

If anyone doubt my words, accompany the Governor in her suroy2x sugbo and you will see how many unfortunate people are still living in the outskirts of the province, far from which any news media can cover and that's just the tip of the ice burg, the part the provincial government wants to show to the public for boost her image but still beneficial to the province though.

On one incident, ang Korean and German tourists ang ni donate lang ug lavatory for the entire barangay kay walay tarong comfort room. Wala sila maulaw ana

Ever heard of 12 year old highschool youths getting married and pregnant in Danao alone because they thought that "ana ra sila taman and wala pagasa mo college"? Danao brod, Danao. I go to Danao every month and never though such a place could have existed. But my father-in-law who has been working for the provincial government for more than 20 years in medical missions (2-4 times a week) explained to me a clear cut picture of what has been hidden behind all the publicity the Governess has "allowed".

So before you call a comment a sirang plaka, try to investigate first and get your facts straight cause now I can say all you are saying is "parang sirang plaka yung lumabas sa keyboard mo".

Suroy2x sugo, I agree is educational. Join one. But you should try accompanying a medical mission especially to remote areas, that were you start to realize how much change needs to be done w/n the provincial government and the province.

i have visited almost all places in Cebu. we have a hometown down in the south and another in the north. we go mountain trekking sometimes. we go to the transcentral hiway. we go to Toledo. we go round south and round north. we go to Bantayan. we go to Camotes. we go to Busay. we go to Guba.

I am a lumad Cebuano. and i've been doing this since childhood up to my 30's. i have also seen provinces progress from sleepy towns to a place w/ progressing economic activity...

but im not saying what i observed is the same to other people...

ikaw? kutob rka sa suroy2x sa sugbu? or better yet google map ra? LOLs

well, u can put it that way. no different from the squatters living in the cities...LOLs

i really doubt ur words. yeah it's alright to accompany Suroy2x sa Sugbu and see our unfortunate people. but u must compare infos between the present situation and a certain point in the past...but i guess u don't have it do u? ma klaro man sab...LOLs

it's not ur comment, but i was talking about the question as sirang plaka coz that question has been discussed already over and over again...LOLs

all i can say is try to digest first people's post before u even type ur keyboard. or better yet, try reading first the previous posts...

and u don't think i don't join med missions too? try joining med missions in the cities too and u will find out mas luoy ang squatters kaysa pobre nato sa probincya...LOLs

in a perfect world, it should be questioned but if we know it is just all business, then there is no point questioning it.

in case u don't know, the new CPPO bldg is just 200 meters away from the old CPPO bldg. unsay labot sa city? ang building permit diay...

if u ask why not sa probinsya ibarug ang new bldg, why not ask CPPO director Senior Supt. Carmelo Valmoria for that matter? i believe he was the one who suggested it. besides, if u question the location, u shud have done it on the old CPPO bldg long ago pa...LOLs

nindota aning gisulti noh? tell it to the marines! “The mayor is thinking that the new building is located still at the old building where the road would pass through. That’s why when I informed him about this development, he practically said there is no need to recall the permit,” Fernandez said.

    u myt recall that,

Osmeņa put the CPPO building permit on hold since April 2008 while waiting for a report, thinking that the new building may affect the city’s road project. When he went on leave, he failed to inform VM Michael Rama the reason why he did not approve the permit yet.

Without a note from Osmeņa barring the signing of the said permit, Rama then affixed his signature last Oct 30, 2008 in approval of the building permit applied by the Mondares Construction Company.

With Rama’s approval, Osmeņa then instructed Fernandez to “look into the details” and “render to him a report on the CPPO building construction”; and in the meantime “have it deliberated in the council” and “hold the approved permit in abeyance.”

With the mayor’s pronouncement of putting the approved permit in abeyance, it caught the ire of the provincial government which is the owner of the lot.
