If you don't go and ride the bike, then the book is killing you which means it becomes useless. The Bible is also like HOW TO LOVE YOUR ENEMIES. We will always need, and the fact that we always need would mean we will never achieve perfect happiness.

when you seek perfect happiness it becomes an elusive goal.
whereas when you live your life intensely and fully, then perfect happiness will be a by product of such a life.

contentment... being happy is not having more.. but being content with what you have... As what one priest said in a homily if you have GOd you will find contentment... you will not ask more because God will provide what you need...
