By the way, ask tako. Inig install nila, naa pa sila iconfigure sa PC? Kay i was thinking nga ibalhin-balhin nako ang line sa connection between two PCs sa balay, ok ra kaha? Or usa ragyud ka pc ila i-configure/i-connect?

globe will issue a modem dsl to you. they will just configure the modem dsl and you can use it with any pc within your house. No other special settings/configuration sa imu pc unless you decide to share your internet connection with other pc. otherwise simple ra cya as plug the modem and surf. By the way if you have telephone extension you must have a dsl filter with each phone extension kay if wala gani, when someone is using the dsl then naa mu alsa or use sa phone then ma disconnect jud ka. Try to request for a speectouch 511e na modem para in case you want to share your internet sa house simple ra ang pag configure.

To all inquiring re: speed increase sa globe DSL, wait until dec. 25 kay thats the time they will finish all the system upgrade.

@edge827 : Try to inquire with the proper globe personnel kay ang mga tao nag taud sa imu dsl are subcontractors sa globe. Dili na cla official na globe personnel. I dont think na swertehan ra ko. There is no such thing like that. Try to inquire sa number in my other post , wait lang pud until dec. 25, 2005 when they finish the system upgrade, then if wala jud ka naapil sa upgrade then try to inquire again sa globe head office sa manila. :mrgreen:

@edge827: Right now my speed ranges from 700 - 1.4mbps. It depends on the internet traffic. I suggest you use a 3rd party apps to tweak your internet speed to the fullest. I highly recommend modembooster by inkilne http://www.inklineglobal.com/products/mb/index.html
I used it sa ako DSL and i have seen speed increase jud.
45kbps is ok na d/l rate if your current speed is 384kbps. try to check your bandwithdth sa globe http://utilities.globequest.com.ph/
under bandwidth meter and check your speed before tweaking and after tweaking. PM me if you need assistance.

by the way what plan imu gi subscribe and how much are you paying per month?
are you sure na 8mbps jud ang imu speed? try to check sa globequest bandwidth meter to know your exact speed and call globe technical if it doesnt match the speed that you subscribe.
