You miss OASIS? didn't they release an album just recently? Like... just last year? They're still around.
Greatest Brit band next to the Beatles? HARDLY!! ... too many bands in front of them. The UK have (had) Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, The Smiths, The Cure, Echo and The Bunnymen, The Stone Roses, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, The *** Pistols, The Clash, etc......
