Regarding the 2 other call centers in CDO. One is link2support, they are exclusive for Linksys modems and routers. The other one, Arriba Inc., they are more on outbound sales.

... and your biggest hurdle is how to get a client... (...and build credibility... its a tedious process... requiring a major mumbojumbo planning...)
... but if you believe you can... and youre resourceful... and you know how to market yourself...
anything is possible...
@Boardroom Warrior ... i just pmed you... anyways.. add more input guys.. like, in your opinion, will the client trust our location knowing that foreigners have this mentality that mindanao is a "scary place".??
bro i like your idea bya. i think your location (mindanao) is not a big factor mn pd on the viability. pro problema lang gyud ng pagpangita og client. we have 1 call center client nga gpasaligan sila sa ilang designer nga my customer makuha pro after the construction igo lang sila nakasugod kadali nya gbyaan na. naglisud gyud sila. pro naka-invest naman ang owner gud mau na napugos gyud cya padayon...
if ever mabalay na nimo tanan bro can you please contact me also? have relatives there in cdo. from time to time i also go there.
wow! this is a very good investment especially Philippines' BPO is growing. But for a 100K capital would be too small. I think that depends also what type of setup you want like the communications setup(that includes your server, PBX, UPS), the number of PCs you are going to use. As long you know the needs and plan it wisely, i think you can start a call center...
@Ichigo97
Read the entire thread. He says that he is planning to raise the capital to 500k.
My mistake, but even he plans to raise the initial capital to 500K, i think that will still be insufficient. But that
will depend also on his planning like for example:
1. what kind of equipment he will use? will he buy a server which sometimes already cost 500K?
will he buy UPS(not the UPS which you can buy in pc stores) but UPS which can handle blackouts for several computers? so that client service will not be interrupted.
2. the salary for employees? should he give health insurance?
3. the rent for the location which should also be consider.
I mean this is some of the factors that he should consider when realizing this plan. And again, once you know how to play the game, this could be a very good investment...
just my two cents...
Right, this is a very good investment...good luck!
this can be done. even with the 100k investment.
as long as siguro nga naa na kay client. USA, Canada, Australia nga clients... more than enough ang 100k investment.
the idea is ayaw dritso ug dako. start small. lets say first 6 months, 10 units/agent lang sa. then slowly expand. tan.awa jud ang dagan month after month kung sustainable ba.
as for me, confident kaayo ko nga sa 100k, kaya ra kaayo. as long as klaro ang client.
