Internet Connection Problem...

i'm connected thru ethernet.
my modem is ZYXEL Prestige 600 series

cable connecting laptop passes thru back of modem with label LAN 10/100M. on the other end, the cable enters thru the side of the laptop which has an icon of "3 pc connected". I guess this is the icon for LAN?

when i connect to dsl. there's a prompt "connecting thru WAN Miniport". then " registering..." then "connecected"


. I still have the problem. pls help.

have you pinged a site na ba like yahoo.com? packets/sent recvd pila?, otherwise if persist call pldt, nag bayad bya ka ana, by d way scratchy ba inyu tel line?

dili man scratchy amo line.
naka ping nako as I posted ,, with ok result.
actually giari naman sa pldt tech, pero wa maayo.
g-advisan nuon ko patan-aw technician.
mao ni patabang ko ninyo. kay i believe masolve ra ni diri.

unsa ip address sa imong modem?
unsa ip address sa imong interface sa pc ug asa naka connect ang modem?
ug makuha nimo ni nga mga info, configure ang imong pc interface nga ang imong gateway ang ipaddress sa modem, dayon ibutang sad ang ip address sa modem sa dns.

asa ni makuha na mga info? unsaun? unsaun pag identify?

do this..
connect first ur dsl modem to the internet.. if u get connected na.. do this.

got to start then run.. type cmd then enter.. n the doscomand type.. iponconfig /all
then u got the result.. check the result of ur LANCARD/eth0

then ping the ipaddres of ur lan card if u got the reply.. it means ok ang imong lancard..

then ping nasad nmo ang gateway nga gihatag.. then if u get the reply.. so ok.... ang gateway...

then ping napod nmo ang dns.. then if u got the reply.... so ok ra ang imong connection... sa LOCAL.. meaning wala pa ka maka gawas sa na-a pa ka sa PLDT routing.. ok.. next..

try to ping a website... if u got a reply..meaning ok ang imong connection.... coz if the problem is on the connection deli jud ka maka kuha og reply from any website...
so the problem is on the browser or in ur O.S try.. try to check if u got a firewall.. then turn it off.... check also the stat of ur antivirus....

one thing if ur using windows xp service pack1 i update na sa servicepack2.. na-a nay bugs ang service pack1...

yep.. sakto na kang monrose29.. type ka ipconfig /all sa dos prompt.
palihug sad ko check sa imong routing config, sa dos command gihapon:

C:\>route print

palihug ko post sa imong data makuha aron ma check nato imo configuration.

check sa imong O.S bro indei... or imong system kong wala bay mga virus..
then go back to the basic....
but i strongly suggest jud if u are using the servicepack1 make it sure to update to servicepack2.. basin na igo na sa blaster worm nga virus...
