I fail to see the connection between porn and rape. Rape is more about power and control. Possibly the deteriorating respect towards women is one of the factors.

the lack of open discussions about ***, sexual orientations and liberalism, the Filipino conservative culture, the Catholic and other religious influence and the fact that *** in the Philippines is a subject being deprived from us, natural sexual beings, are contributing factors why loooosers like echegaray rape their daughter and other gruesome cases.

Drive-by attack kills teenager in Lapu City

An 18-year-old man was shot dead while walking along a highway in Barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City before dawn yesterday. Febroy Jame Sumalinog was hit in the chest and died on the way to the Lapu-Lapu City District Hospital.

Witnesses earlier saw two men on a motorcycle slow down near Sumalinog, who was walking along Maximo Pata-linjug Ave. at past 3 a.m. The passenger shot him.

Star player shot dead after helping team win

Playing his best in a basketball game proved fatal for a player in an inter-barangay league in Valencia, Carcar City when he was shot some 500 meters away from the basketball court after their team won last Saturday night.


Police identified the fatality as Joey Solon, who was shot in the back. His teammate Juanito Moreno also landed in the hospital after two unidentified men opened fire at them while the two were on a motorcycle on their way home. When the group reached sitio Cabiawon, a gunshot was heard and Solon fell. Thinking that the basketball player just accidentally fell from the bike the driver stopped in order to pick him up.


They were surprised to see blood from the victim and decided to bring him to the hospital, but while they were trying to get Solon back on the bike, Moreno suddenly slumped to the ground and was found to have also suffered a gunshot wound to the back.
