bro, im glad to know daghan pud d i mga istoryans interested sa Delphi.
Im also a Delphi user for almost a year na, currently i used Delphi 7.
Bro, kung RAD ang istoryahan dali kau ang Delphi. U have a lot of
components nga mapilian specially in Database Application..
Actually VB user judko but wen i discover Delphi, wla nko nibalik sa VB.
Delphi make the programmers work a lot easier compare to VB.

bro, kinsa man ninyo naggamit na og OOP methodology? ganahan ko
makabalo ani nga approach. can u give me some tips on how to implement this?

asay mas nindot VB or Delphi.. coz i heard na nindot daw ang delphi..
Delphi is using Pascal as its programming language. As for VB or Delphi, it depends talaga sa user preferrence. If you're going to ask me I would rather go Delphi because of its readability.

It's an approach not a methodlogy.

I always think a methodology is a process of software development with standard notation such as UML.
Example: Rational Unified Process (RUP), Extreme Programming (XP).

What do you want to know about OOP?

I wrote a Java persistence layer framework about 6 yrs ago. The mapping was just basically class to table and member field as columns, object relationships like association/aggregate/parent-child/ mapped to foreign-keys.

Also, there are a lot of open source frameworks out there too like Castor JDO, Speedo, ....

If you like to create your own framework, read these articles of Scott Ambler:

    http://www.agiledata.org/essays/mappingObjects.html

    http://www.agiledata.org/essays/impedanceMismatch.html

    and

    http://www.ksc.com/article5.htm - Crossing Chasms:
A Pattern Language for Object-RDBMS Integration" -- brown, whitenack. I spotted this article first at PLOPD 1 Book.
