when a person gets jealous, does it really mean he/she has no trust with his/her partner?

i know its hard but let go of your attachments and let your partner take his/her share of the responsibility to nurture the relationship because if your partner really wants to cheat on you, he or she will, even how much you give of yourself to the relationship..
