Need your help and expertise!

I created a back up file from my android phone to my laptop because i want to reset my phone to factory settings.
Then after resetting my phone, I'am now having trouble restoring the back up files. They are now saved as .bak files on my laptop.

Any inputs on how to solve this problem.

I have no problem restoring my files and settings using only my gmail account without using any 3rd applications. How did you come up with that .bak files?

Program from the laptop. Can back up files, messages, contacts, apps from android phone. But cant restore it back to the phone

Ouch. You should have used your google account in backing up your contacts bai. There's this app in store that backs up messages too, and it's free.
