bisan wala pa nahitabo ang previous incident they shouldn't have done that...it was a direct derogatory insult not ONLY to Cory Aquino and the rest of the previous presidents of the other countries displayed in that movie but to the women in general...mura man cla nakaminus nga ang mga baye d makalead not specifically for presidency but leading in any capacity....mura man ta nibalik decades ago wherein women can't cast their vote...since they are treated inferior to men....

about desperate housewives, i think its wrong that people want terry hatcher to publicly apologize. people have to understand that she has nothing to do with this. she just got the script and read her lines. its not like she can do anything about it. abc has already apologized and from the looks of it, they did a quick job in confronting the issue. they even suggested changing the episode so that it wouldnt be included in future dvd's. what more can they do? ...
about the pres. aquino issue. that was totally uncalled for. when i first saw it, i was speechless. why use the word sl** and those others words they described the other female leaders. for a comedy show, that wasnt amusing. where was the punchline in that segment.

If pasultion siya ug joke's about blacks/african american, im sure, mo.dili gyud dayon siya sa script kay daghan siya makontra nga mga rich and powerful pa gyud nga african american like oprah, etc..

Why should we get affected? If that is their opinion of us...so what? Are we gonna die? If not, let's move on 'coz this is really pathetic! Why are we giving this issue so much attention? There are more pressing problems that needs attention like global warming, murder, rape, corruption, etc...and here we are wasting much precious energy and time over what an actress said on tv. Do you live your life with everybody's approval?

Truth or not, we cannot please everybody! Even if it is hurtful, unfair, wrong...we don't have any right to question them why they think of us that way. Or why they said it. Kung mao gyud nang ilang opinion, mag-boot diay ka? We have to learn to respect others who are different from us (in this case, who doesn't agree with us). We have to learn humility. Even if we think we are beautiful, unya naay muingon na bati tag nawong, imo gyud diay awayon sila and force them to call you beautiful? Pathetic! We do not have any right to demand an apology. Anything forced is not sincere. Even if ni-sorry sila, it doesn't mean tinuod na. The apology was probably written by the secretary to erase the negative press of the show and the station. It's all about economics. Di sila gusto mawad-an ug viewers kay kwarta ang mawala. So i doubt it if the apology is sincere. So people, have a little pride. Giinsulto na gani ta. Sugot pa ta mo-beg for apology? Ewww...

    So move on people.

    ^^

that's exactly what is it suppose to be.

If they are affected/hurt, so let them be.

u cant force them not to be hurt or affected.

if u are not affected as well, better move on.

u r right we can't please everybody BUT we can't let them degrade us... we have so much to offer to them, competent professionals from different fields of work...the scene is not comical, if it was then most of us would take it as a green joke just like what u see from stand up comedians or tv sitcoms...

how they make us a laughing matter is reflective of how they look at us as a people. We can move on yes, but what signal does that send them? that it is ok to poke insults at us and our people?
