WORDPRESS TECHNICAL SUPPORT
We're on the hunt for a WordPress Technical Support consultant with a passion for, and a solid
understanding of the Open Source Platform, WordPress. The successful applicant will have at least
2 years commercial experience on WordPress, an understanding of themes/plug-ins and be an
enthusiastic follower of current and emerging web technologies focused around WordPress.
A strong understanding of all aspects of WordPress and WordPress hosting is essential, as is an
aptitude for bug-fixing and helping customers.
What will you be doing?
You will be providing technical support to customers and suggesting new functionality for our
advanced Wordpress Plug-in/Theme, AffiloTheme, and its sister product, AffiloJetpack, including:
Supporting and responding to customer and staff requests on our forum and through our ticket
system.
Debugging problems with our theme and filing bug fixes.
Suggesting and proposing solutions to improve our theme.
The work will be ongoing and full-time.
Essential skills and abilities
Wordpress - 3+ years commercial experience
Good knowledge of Wordpress Themes/Plug-ins with it.
Solid understanding of HTML and CSS
Knowledge of shared hosting fundamentals (e.g. user quotas, common limits, good development
practice)
An aptitude for bug hunting
Excellent communication, both written and spoken.
