Kyocera Document Solutions, a multinational software company with headquarters in LA, Concord, Osaka, Tokyo and Cebu (SkyRise 4 IT Park), is in urgent need of the following position:
PURCHASING & IMPEX OFFICER
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the timely procurement and delivery of goods and services for the company, ensuring cost effectiveness commensurate with quality:
a.) Scouts potential supplier, provides quotations to various requesters based on requirement specified
b) Prepare purchase order (PO), purchase items as needed; collaborates with Finance for online purchases
c) Coordinates and resolves related issues with end user departments and suppliers
d) Analyzes current purchasing activities and recommends improvement through more efficient methods
Also responsible for the timely inbound and outbound shipment of goods/ items delivered to the company and from the company.
a) Facilitates and closely collaborates with stakeholders for import/export transactions and related requirements/compliances to PEZA & Bureau of Customs
b) Monitors payment-related items on import/export
Requirements:
Graduate of Bachelor degree, preferably with good scholastic records
At least 2 years work experience equivalent in a related capacity
Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures of purchasing and inventory control
Must have numerical competence
Trustworthy and with high integrity and good moral character
With strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
High attention to details
Capable of multi-tasking and shows high ability to meet deadlines
