    Default Network Setup


    Kinsa naay experience ug simple Small Network Setup?

    Like, at least 10 to 20 PCs, Switch, Server, Telephone, Network Printer, VoIP and etc.

    Unsa kahay nindot nga mga server gamiton, like brand, and everything. Naa moy ma suggest?

    go for branded ones like IBM server or DELL. For me I prefer IBM since they are very stable. Do go for clones you will regret in the long run specially if your server are on heavy use.

    for voip layer 2 cisco switch is good(layer 3 is much better but more expensive),for network printer kyocera,

    Depends on the requirements, i dont think on his setup you wont need a layer 3 switch... A layer 2 switch with good switching capacity can suffice already.. For servers, impt factors are disk speed, psu, and nic. Depende pod, if there are cpu intensive apps to run, go for multicore or multi processor clone setups, if you can afford enterprise servers pwde ra pod, but might just be an overkill. Balanse lang sa budget, requirements and etc... For voip services dghan around, id recommend voip' providers that have good latency from your site or with your ISP of your choice. Different ISP have different routes to different voip providers. For hardphones cisco and avaya pwd ra sad baratuhon hehe. For headset, choose the usb type with active noise cancelling. Workstation computer specs depends solely on the operations done at the station.
