Definitely. That being said, how does this potential elective relate to your teacher? He doesn't sound like the norm that this course may end up producing. (Then again, I've heard interesting stories about teachers in USC. A number of crazies. A number of awesome ones. A number of unusuals. So I guess it would be kind of expected?)

i agree na since our country is (predominantly) dominated by both religions (Roman Catholic and Muslim religion), maayo man pud na makahibalo sa ila culture...
sayang lang for this History teacher...he could do so much more by teaching 'appropriately' instead of instilling his own ideals and beliefs on his students...
oh well...to each his own...
