    Bro, na-limpyohan na jud ang entire throttle body including the IAC valve. After nalimpyohan, nawala ang P0113 - Intake Air Temperature issue. After pila ka hours ug pinangita sa source sa P2009 error code, natultolan jud namo. It happens to be this one, on the right with the red box (see pic). naputol or gituyo ba kaha ni ug putol ang wire sa taga surplusan, l'll explain below.

    Among gisumpay ang putol nga wire and nawala ang tanang error codes and so does the Check Engine Light. Pero ang nahitabo karon ky naay lain nga tingog sa makina (clunking sound) or somewhere ba kaha ni sa intake manifold. Kung akong i-disconnect ni nga part, hilom ra jud kaayo ang makina.

    Akong questions ky:

    1. Unsa ni nga parts ang duha. Lain-lain man ang term gitawag ani when I searched for it sa web. Not sure ko if EGR ni or Vacuum Solenoid Valve, etc... They are identical and unsa ilang role sa engine? Part number: 1S7G-9J559-BA / L801 46672 3308

    2. Unsay effect ani sa engine if i-connect ra ni nako ang defective piece... unsa pod ang effect kung i-disconnect nako?

    3. Nakabantay ko nga ang top portion ani ky ma-rotate... adjustment knob ba ni nga possible makawala sa clunking sound?

    4. Worst case scenario: Pwede ba ni nako malimpyohan to miraculously fix its clunking sound? How?

    sauuuuz kasayon ra ana uy exhaust gas recirculation valve, I think its doing it`s job bro, I dont know lang ha, di ko sure kung unsa kakusga ang clunking sound imong pasabot, can you record it on mp3 on your phone and upload it to mediafire? para makadungog ko... ang purpose ana nga valve kay i recirculate niya ang ubang unburn exhaust gas to be reburned balik sa intake for a purer exhaust emission on the exhaust pipe going to the atmosphere... now kung faulty imong catalytic converter or stuck mu sense imong O2 sensor ug excessive signal going to the ECM then the ECM didtates that valves to open frequently and will produce unwanted sound effects sa imong makina, naay qiuck fix ana, ang coil ana kada isa ka solenoid is being sensed sa ECM, you can read the exact resistance reading sa coil ana mag wild guess lang ko ha more or less 300-350 ohms, palit sa advance ug 300 ohms 5 watts resistor (if that`s the reading on the actual) disconnect the 2 terminals then connect the 2 resistors sa mga terminals ana, it will solve the weird sound but wala na kay EGR, kung metikuluso gyud ka you will further inspect the CAT and the condition of your exhaust system which will cost you a bit but you will preserve the system design sa imong makina nga environment friendly, which in my case (fvck EPA) were not living in the US anyways

    it`s just a 10 peso fix TS (5 pesos per 5 watt resistor)

    Ok bro, ako unya i-record ugma. Kung ako na i-disconnect ang usa boss nga naka cause sa clunking noise, unsa possible effects?

    Ako nabantayan karon nga naka connect na ky gawas sa noise, mura man ug walay power akong dagan. Murag hungaw paminawn ang tingog sa makina during acceleration. I'm not even sure if ni change gear beyond the second gear.

    Also, akong gi-check akong transmission fluid, naa na man hinoon mga particles which i don't notice before.

    possible causes sa clunking noise is your catalytic converter clogged or partially clogged up muffler, I think naay restriction imong exhaust, naa ra anang duha, it`s either damaged CAT nya ang sediment ni accumulate sa muffler w/c result to a partially clogged exhaust, your O2 sensor senses too much unburned exhaust gas basin tungod sa restriction then the ECM will open the EGR to recycle some of the exhaust gas then it could result to a lack of power (muhagok na inig accelerate) so unsa man TS? resistor fix? or exhaust fix? hehe

    Di-a ra ang recording sa engine noise. Jump in to around 1:10, akong gi rev.

    Engine Noise

    If I'll go with the resistor fix, boss aside from it will eliminate the clunking noise, will it also bring back that lost power sa engine? Will the CEL goes out too?

    Second, mao ba ni imong pasabot pag connect sa resistor, boss?



    I'm not sure if I'm getting the right resistance reading ky layo ra man sa imong guess boss. 34.5 ohms ra man ang resistance sa coil according to my tester. Sakto ba pod kaha akong gi-read, hehe. With the power disconnected, akong gibutang ang probes sa terminals sa solenoid. Right?

    Paminaw nako murag barado man imong exhaust system bro, i`ved listened to it carefully murag pinugos ang pag rev, murag naay ga restrict sa exhaust flow, testingi kuno ug tang2x ang exhaust pipe bro nya paandara kung pinugos ba gihapon ang inandaran nya testingi ug huyop ang pipe going to the cat and muffler, the EGR is perfectly doing it`s job, it recycles back some of the exhaust gas going to the intake, kung mu pressure man gud nang exhaust pipe mu false read ang O2 sensor nga naay daghang unburned gas syempre kay naa may restriction basin ug ni build-up ug exhaust pressure ang pipeline ba, klaro man gud kaayo nga murag nagtagbo ang pressure sa exhaust gas gikan sa discharge valves ug backflow sa restriction, mao nang mukagilkil ang tingog, worse case pa gyud ana is a loose of power sa imong makina....

    maski butangan pa na nimo ang coils ug resistors masolve ra nimo ang check engine light nga di na musiga ug ang tingog nga kagilkil pero naa lang gihapoy underlying problem ang makina, kay supposed to be inig function sa EGR walay kagilkil, so if ever kung restricted na imong exhaust system and let`s say imong gibangilan ug resistors ang terminals to simulate nga naay solenoids still connected, ang effect ana is dali ra na mu init imong makina kay di man niya malabay ug freeflow ang init exhaust gas instead mucreate pa siya ug pressure and heat sa mismo pipe kung asa dapit ang ni restrict, meaning di gihapon maayo sa makina nya bunol sad padaganon....

    weeee, nagkalawom na man ni nga problem, boss kung sakto ka sa imong duda. hehehe. dili man pod siya bunol panimawon kung tang-tangon nako ang isa ka solenoid unya okay ra pod kaayo ang dagan and shifting. walay saba pod. labara ulo ani oi. sakit pod sa bulsa. hehe

    ikaw bro, kung kontento ra ka sa power sa naka disable ang EGR then just buy the resistors, make it 10W 35 ohms katong naka wrapped ug ceramic, tag 10 php sa advance ang usa, it will solve the check engine light nga musiga nya wa na say kagilkil kay di na man mu function ang EGR...ana na lang sa bro...

    kasagaran man gud mga mazda units dali ra kaayo manga dugmok ang catalytic converter, nya inig madugmok na didto na dayon magtapok sa muffler which will result to a partially clogged exhaust system, simple ra man ta kaayo na ug remedy, operahan ra man na ang catalytic converter nya pangkuha-on to ang murag karton nya operahan sad ang muffler, kuha-on pud to ang debris sa catalytic, mana functional na balik imong exhaust system plus back to original na ang power sa imong makina....no electrical modification required....
