Iphone 5 Warranty Question

I have an in warranty Iphone 5, bought on December of last year at JV shop n shop MAZE ayala. I was having power issues with it so I went to them to have my iPhone 5 service. They said it will take a month for it to be serviced since they'll send it to singpore. So I waited, now it's been over a month, they contacted me yesterday and said that they have my iphone 5 replacement ready in their warehouse. they also told me that I needed to pay 2,500 php for freight.

So my question is, Do I really need to pay the amount for freight? I thought I have warranty, I also had a friend that got his iphone 5 replaced at SM but he was not charged for Freight.

I just want your guys opinion, Thanks a lot.

If they are the authorised reseller of apple products kay covered jud na. Mostly sa dili authorised kay pinalit na nila outside pinas (mostly sa singapore). If sa singapore gi buy it means mo pay jud ka freight charge.

Mao bro important jud mo buy ka sa authorized resellers.

afaik you have to pay for the freight. even for authorized reseller, adto na nila ipadala sa singapore. murag naa didto ang official service center for asia.
