    @anotz:

    I highly recommend these particular Dragonlance novels all written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman

    - Dragons of Autumn Twilight
    - Dragons of Winter Night
    - Dragons of Spring Dawning

    - Time of the Twins
    - War of the Twins
    - Test of the Twins

    Although from the same authors, I feel the following was anti-climatic (murag gidali just to finish the saga)

    - The Second Generation (children of some of the heroes above)
    - Dragons of Summer Flame

    Kung mas addict ka nako, then you can read all the books listed here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...nicles_Trilogy.

    Naa pa dyud after Dragons of Summer Flame but I don't know, the characterization and the interaction of the children of the original companions weren't as powerful as that of the original companions. Panagsa ra ko muhilak while reading books and the 6 books above made me cry (boys do cry you know).

    @about:

    I read Eyes of the Dragon (I hope padayon himuon movie or maski HBO or Hallmark ra) and medyo bitin kay naka-eskapo sa Flagg. Gigukod hinuon siya ni Thomas and Dennis and the story ends there hinting that there might be a continuation but up to now wala. Flagg was mentioned pa gani in the Dark Tower series (which I didn't finish because when I read the first two books, dugay na waiting time between novels, paeta ani Stephen King oi, mas grabe pa siya kay George Lucas na 3 years ra waiting).

    I'm trying to collect all Eddings' books. My sister, meanwhile, collects Terry Brooks -- another good fantasy author.
    I have Terry Brook's complete shannara series and David Eddings' books as well. hehehe, nindot man ug style si david noh?

    Default RECOMMENDED FANTASY BOOKS

    The very first, and one of my favorites, excursion into the realm of high fantasy. Not as heavy as The Lord of Rings but still good, very good indeed.

    LLOYD ALEXANDER's THE CHRONICLES OF PRYDAIN

    The Book of Three (1964)
    The Black Cauldron (1965) - Winner of the 1966 Newbery Honor
    The Castle of Llyr (1966)
    Taran Wanderer (1967)
    The High King (196 - Winner of the 1969 Newbery Medal

    I agree with cmontoya and Uzumaki Naruto. DragonLance and Forgotten Realms(Drizzt books by RA Salvatore) are my favorites. Do stay with the main books in DragonLance though, side stories by other authors are hits or miss. Stay with Weis and Hickman. But try Richard Knaack too who is great.

    Drizzt books got the best fighting scenes in a book. He just recently finished the last of a trilogy focusing on 2 of Drizzt's archenemies that became famous to fans. He got a new book every Oct.

    Anyway, these books are hard to find in Cebu. Try Fully Booked in Manila.

    Default who has read trickster's choice and trickster's queen?

    if you haven't i suggest you read them.. especially for all fantasy lovers.. CHOICE is the first book while QUEEN is the sequel..

    it's not really about fairies and all that, more like spies and gods, and ninjas, and mages (my fave fantasy character of all time)... :mrgreen:

    it's just too bad it ended already with the second book..
