Why do some profiles have no "ADD FRIEND" option?

Newbie and Junior walay Add as Friend.
Even if you add them manually in your Profile wala sila'y madawat nga notice.
You can only add them as Contacts.

Senior Members and up pwede Add as Friend.

It is probably because a Newbie/Junior Istoryan has to spend sometime browsing/posting around the Forum, and at that getting-to-know stage will make friends in the process by the time she/he accumulates enough post to become a Senior Member.

yeah right, making new friends in real world is not rated by posting, while here dadaan pa tayo sa butas nang karayum pra mka add ug friend, because online beings are easy to add but be very vigilant to accept right? correct me if i`m wrong, maybe way jud ni sa mga mods aron mka earn ug enough trust ang mga istoryan to trust you when time comes that you will post on Buy / Sell / Trade / Classifieds or adding some new friends, basta follow lang tah sa rules.

no... you have to add as friend... and someone needs to approve it..

it seems with the new updates the add as contact button is removed?
