OOPS, speaking about double-talk, I now change my mind.

What I find here are photographers who post your photos on the Internet, mostly of amateur skill levels who are looking to work with models - usually in glamour or nude settings. - most of the images you will get from trades with part-time and inexperienced photographers are NOT going to be pictures that will get you work.

actually, it means "I don't have to explain myself to wannabes"

as pnoize2k7 already mentioned that shot was from one of the workshops I gave...



and the models for these workshops are paid for their time. as now most of my model work
are paid assignments where either I'm paying a model for using their talent or a client is paying me to do
a shoot for them. photography is my business and one that I love... I'm not going to risk some sleazy moves
just to lose everything. most of the free shoots I do are usually with close friends and are mainly just for fun.

hmmmm.... or I guess all my work coming out in magazine editorials, billboards, advertisments, catalogues
and projects with Shangri-la, Hilton, Plantation Bay, and other high profile clients are a big joke then.

you know, for someone who's only two posts into istorya, you're pretty cocky to be attacking people
you hardly know. not a good way to build a good reputation here... or anywhere for that matter.

Argh!!! pnoize and I were offering help to an aspiring model on the "Trends & Fashion" board
when all of a sudden she starts attacking us and describing all amateur photographers here as "sleazy"

and whoever you are, you don't need to post any rude comments about gays even it's true or not...
And about these photographers, my dear... They are professionals. They have been taking pictures in many years, in many models, and in many popular agencies in fashion industry...

I did one of the first major photoshoots of the models when sparkle was just starting out. but that was a loooooooooooong time ago when I was just starting out, too.

hehehe...i still remember that...that was for SPARKLE launching photos "dazzle"...dude that was their 1st photoshoot gyud...yabag kaayo to...diba suppose to be 4 man unta ta ka photographers adto to cover more than 25 models male and female with 2 or 3 changes in 2-3 hours lang...and i remember they were supose to provide makeup artist and stylist and director but we ended up having to do everything just us. hehehe. not to mention the other photographers never showed up...karag karag lagi hahaha!

@vlad: i believe Mink is no longer around, most if not all mink models are now handled by MAC.

@shaxyra: i know a few MAC under 5'7

@chaowix: fine Looks, nice Body, & the right Attitude

@slakker: many models ive worked with dont do skimpy by choice and that never stoped them from being a good & sucessfull fashion model

...but models SHOULD HAVE the right attitude dapat... no attitude = no good

@eisen: AD agency ni dexter is actually going on its 10th year...is that still considered new?

@krizette: Pagoda handles tallents for BEAUTY PAGENTS only...some of her gurls does bikini open/shows like that but i dont think siya ang mu handle nila for that. fashion shows murag wala sad gyud.
as for your amature photographer comment, sure there are a lot since the drop in DSLR prices but you just pointed your finger at the wrong guy!
i think you have been talking to the wrong people and realizing the wrong things. tsk tsk.
notice in those nude poses, none of the models faces are even showing...for PROFESSIONAL REASONS!
often times those posted here by reputable photographers are works that the models themselves are proud of and want it to be shown off.
i myself 99% of the time post only photos what my models ask me to post.

khymm: diba you joined sparkle early or mid last year (2006) pa. knowing you have now 6 + comments here istorya all coz your pretty & cute. having done a shoot with you, i can say you're actually one of the better looking models from sparkle so im just wondering... how many bookings have they given you? 1? 10? too many to count? in the last 6 months...im just wondering pm nalang

models seeking agency/manager, i have contacts for all these agencies if anyone need help...

btw, i dunno if they should be ranked coz agencies like these have target market also.
so it sort of depends on what kind of modeling jobs you wanna do. and what fits you physically and mentally.
amee, dexter and danny tend to capture similar market. (yes this is a business people
chickoy, a different one (similar to mink before)
but all them eventually cross paths as well from time to time

if you ask me which i would recommend...comment lang ko in private hehehe...

there really isn't a height requirement for print... and sometimes even with TV

correct...even maui taylor is only 5 flat.
internation model/tv personality carmen electra is only 5feet and 2.5inches
