salamat diay for the reply ha. i was eagerly waiting man sad gud for a news to be featured sa tv. siguro nalimot lang ko na wee hours na hapit to nahitabo and liwas na sa oras sa news. hehehehe. but thanks kai na inform ko na mahitabo dyud diay na siya na phenom.
planetary alignment pod in my opinion.
FYI: The planets are ALWAYS aligned. They orbit the sun in ONE plane, with the exception of pluto and the other dwarf planets (which aren't visible to the naked eye in the first place). Tan-awa ra gud ang model of the solar system, murag plato ang shape the solar system--ONE plane, so mao nga if you see the planets in the sky, ALIGNED dyud na kanunay. This is just simple astronomy facts DISTORTED again just to spread crazy and false text messages.
It is very clear that people who are spreading this hype know absolutely nothing about basic astronomy.
I know what I am talking about, because I show the planets to kids DAILY--I'm an astronomy lecturer
BTW, people should really look up the definition of astronomy vs. astrology--they are two COMPLETELY different things.

Simple guide.
Look west after sunset--the two bright objects you see are not stars. The lower, brighter one is Venus, and the upper less brighter one is Jupiter.
At around 12 midnight, the reddish object almost directly overhead is Mars.
At around 5 am, Saturn is nearly directly overhead, but you won't notice it--look for a yellowish starlike object which does not twinkle--that's Saturn.
Most of the time these planets are always in the night sky because they are the visible planets (you don't need a telescope to see them).
Now probably ang big pangutana sa uban is--what does it mean? Does it mean the end of the world acheche ek ek? FACT: "alignments" (the proper term is planetary grouping) constantly happen, and the only meaning you can get out of it is that the planets revolve around the sun, so naturally, naa dyud moments nga magka-timing lang sila'g tapok.
Read my blog entry on a 4-planet grouping that occurred last year and I took photos of it in Cebu City: https://www.istorya.net/forums/blogs/...y-13-2011.html
And read my blog entry on the significance or insignificance of these occurrences here:
https://www.istorya.net/forums/blogs/...-of-venus.html
People like to give "meaning" to everything they cannot understand, or things they fear--science tries to erase the fear by making people understand.

kita ko ani but nagutana ko amo silingan nga may pagka suheto sad ,,ingon cya ky "SATELITE" thanks sa info. rodsky
di ba sir unusual things that are beyond one's understanding will always be interpreted the best way the person involved sees it? you can nullify the infos made by these people but please don't sound insulting. mind you, maski pa unsa ka kamaayo sa imo expertise and ka knowledgeable sa imo area of study, di ka perpekto. you for one don't even know EVERYTHING as all of us aren't
well, basically true. we really don't know astronomy. maski ikaw kabalo ka for a fact na lumalabayng hangin ra na ang astronomy sa school. igo ra gi define pero walai depth of infos.
wa kuhaa sa imo imong pagka astronomer. i made the thread para lang magshare ug infos and not to alarm anyone or make false beliefs. hangyo lang sunod palihug, na sound like you're advising and not insulting.
kai maski balihon nimo imo gi post, hilas ra kaayo kag approach
